More than a city tour

Zurich is more than banks, chocolate and postcard views.

Beneath the surface lies a city shaped by reformers, immigrants, industrialists, artists, activists and countless everyday stories.

The Zurich Story invites you to discover these connections.

A lively city square with people sitting at outdoor tables, walking, and riding bicycles. Green trees line the area, and multi-story residential buildings with dormer windows can be seen in the background. The scene depicts a warm, social atmosphere.

We don't rush through Zurich.

We don't collect landmarks.

We reveal stories.

We stay curious.

The Stories

Meet your local storyteller

A young man with brown hair, glasses, wearing a brown shirt and black pants, standing outdoors in front of a white wall and smiling.

Born and raised in Zurich, I've never stopped discovering my own city.

I'm just as excited by a forgotten courtyard in the Old Town as I am by a new café, a neighbourhood debate or an exhibition that changes how I see a familiar place. Zurich is constantly evolving—and that's exactly what keeps me curious.

On my walks, I don't just share the city's history. I connect it with everyday life, local perspectives and the stories that continue to shape Zurich today.

I hope you'll leave not only knowing more about Zurich, but seeing it differently.

the more I explore Zurich,

the more there is to discover,

the more I explore Zurich, the more there is to discover,

Why The Zurich Story?

Local Perspective.

Born and raised in Zurich, I don't just know the city's history—I know what it's like to live here. From neighbourhood traditions to today's conversations, every walk is shaped by a local perspective.

Stories, Not Sightseeing.

Landmarks become more meaningful when you understand the people, ideas and events behind them. Every tour connects places that might otherwise seem unrelated.

Curiosity Leads the Way.

Every walk is a conversation. Questions are always welcome, and every tour evolves with the interests of the people who join it.
